THEN join one of our training groups. Our in person trainings meet two hours weekly for 12 weeks or our 12hr 2 day Intensive training. We focus on the what, why, and how of passing the MFT Law and Ethics Examination. These are systematic weekly trainings that will assist you in strategizing, studying, and relaxing into the test. We cover CAMFT, NASW, and ACA Ethical codes. You will understand Confidentiality and Exceptions to Confidentiality, Privilege, Consent, and Professional Practice. We have practice questions and scenarios that will stimulate what you have already learned! If you join an in person training you have the support of others in the group that may be experiencing the same anxiety and anticipation as you. We have a hypnotherapist that will give you techniques to help you relax. Don’t do this alone, come join us! Or if you prefer you can sign up for our Online trainings and work at your own pace! Darlene Davis is a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist and
Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor. She is the
Executive Director for HOPE Counseling Center where she
supervises trainees and interns. She has been teaching masters level students in counseling for over 9 years and loves guiding clinicians through legal and ethical issues they may experience.
